What can I expect?
How long?
You should start seeing benefits within the first few sessions. You and I together will determine to best course of treatment for your needs. Therapy may be long-term or you may simply need brief therapy where in just a few sessions you are making big strides.
How much?
I recommend people come to therapy once a week or twice a month initially. Typical visits are 50 minutes in length. I also do longer or shorter sessions and phone appointments, after the initial visit. I have several slots available for a reduced fee to ensure that counseling is affordable to all.
How do I know if this is right for me?
I understand if you need more information or want to talk before your first appointment. Please call or e-mail me and we can figure out if I am the right fit for you. My contact information is at the bottom of every page on this site.
How do I get started?
Send me an email kavicollilcsw@gmail.com or me a call at 925-268-0912. I would love to help!
“Good Faith Estimate” Effective 1/1/2022
Under the law, No Surprises Act (H.R. 133), health care providers (including Licensed Clinical Social Workers) must provide uninsured clients and self-pay clients an estimate of the total bill for psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected costs of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 day before your appointment. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill/statement that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill/statement.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises OR call 877-267-2323.
