I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, families, adults, and teens work through the challenges that prevent them from living the healthy and purposeful life they desire. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1998 with an emphasis on health and mental health.

My experience over the years has been varied. I have worked with women in all stages of family planning, including women going through infertility challenges, perinatal loss, high-risk pregnancies, and the postpartum period. My work expanded to work with teens, young adults, identity issues, and chronic health conditions in the areas of endocrinology and oncology. I have experience leading teen support groups to build self-esteem to improve coping with stress, anxiety, and depression.

I am passionate about helping people and have a particular interest in discovering the way in which we adjust to life-altering events, human resiliency, trauma-informed care, and more recently, the neuroscience behind lasting behavior change and design thinking.
